Intro time! I'm Tene, an artist that LOVES anything fantasy. I love trying new styles out because I am indecisive and can doodle up anthros, humanoids, humans, and creatures. Even if I haven't drawn it before, I can adapt! Give me your worst ๐Ÿ˜ค Commissions are open and I regularly work on adopts!

Visual example: Let's say it's VERY important that your readers notice a key getting stolen by a mouse. You do NOT want your readers to miss this as it plays a huge role in the plot later. Will some people notice the mouse in the first example? Sure. But EVERYONE will notice in the second.

Two simple cartoon panels both showing one person worriedly asking "have you seen my key?" and the other responding "no, sorry". In the first panel the characters are framed in the foreground and a mouse carrying a key is a smaller element of the background, off to the side. In the second example, the mouse and key are framed in the foreground from a perspective close to the ground, while the two human characters are in the background.

A piece of advice for people getting into making comics: if you want your readers to notice or pay attention to something, it should be framed in the panel in a way that makes them notice or pay attention to it accordingly. That seems obvious on paper, but apparently it's easy to forget

For many long years, we have been trying to survive. We hold on to the hope that tomorrow something will change, that we will live in safety and that our Ukraine will be happy again. We keep living, fighting, and believing. Because without this hope, it would be so much harder.

Jake has been a long standing friend of mine for so many years and is in a rougher space after his husband had spinal surgery. If you can donate anything & everything helps. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿ–ค Please consider helping these two lovely people out if youโ€™re able(and sharing if you canโ€™t), they deserve a break.

I'm sorry to do this and it's a really big ask but on 8/16/26, my husband will have to undergo spinal surgery in hopes to lessen his constant chronic pain. This will result in him needing round-the-clock care and supervision per his surgical team. (1/5) ko-fi.com/honeydropcro...
