Stealth40k@stealth40k.bsky.social · 4w agoSquare Enix announced Star Ocean: The Second Story R is now out on Switch 2. It will be $49.99 with no upgrade path or compatible Switch save data. Still, Square Enix is porting games to Switch 2 like crazy.
This is stupid. Don't support this shit. There's no reason for these games to not have upgrade packs for owners of the Switch 1 versions. It's especially predatory because they just put the original versions on sale on the eShop, and now anyone who bought those, but wants these is shit out of luck
