btw for people complaining about estinien's armor not changing: the DRG 70 artifact gear is actually pre-dragonsong war armor when dragoons worked with dragons and his specifically was gifted to him by hraesvelgr and he named it "iceheart" :)

They're probably recorded coming and going just as "Pennyroyal." While they do have a "real name," it's certainly not been written down anywhere. The fortunate thing about having an aversion to metal coinage is that when you work mostly for barter, it's a lot harder for the tax man to keep up with.

Okay, so, when Ser Pennyroyal was in Lalafell Forme, they went by the name Mumushi Mushi. Mushi in Japanese means (more or less) "bug." So I started calling them Ser Bug Bug. Even though they're in Au Ra Mode now, I kept the handle cuz I think it's cute/funny hehe

Vis-a-vis vibes, I do hope people find Pennyroyal inscrutable in an interesting way and not in a "the writer doesn't know what they're doing" way. I know the Xaela "knight" who sounds like Macbeth is a weird combo, but I promise there's method to it. I promise. Please, I promise so hard.
Pennyroyal's accent is very Gaelic, which is completely normal for where they're from, but tends to raise eyebrows in Eorzea. I think people find it difficult to make assumptions about, their accent, behavior, and appearance are all at odds with one another on first blush.
