Lately I’ve had a small (but very noticeable) amount of my OF subscribers sending me screenshots of their snarky and sometimes borderline abusive replies to *other* OF creators whose marketing tactics they disapprove of. This is fucking weird and I would like it to stop!!

This whole thread is wild and so dystopian, but I am CACKLING about the comment from Joi AI. Joi AI paid to run an ad in the middle of the 2026 AVN Awards show back in January, and the entire theater full of thousands of adult industry professionals booed at it.

When I reached out to multiple clients of Movchan, this is what a few of them had to say: (I was somewhat surprised that even Joi AI, a startup that creates romantic/sexual AI companions, seemed angry)

“We do work with Movchan Agency, but were not aware of these practices,” RiseGuide’s founder, Oleksandr Matsiuk, told me. “They are meant to act as our PR support and represent our brand by helping us with reaching out to reporters like yourself. Each story gets either created, or previously approved by us, however, we were not aware they were using AI-generated personas in the outreach process — otherwise we would’ve been naturally against it.”
