After watching World Cup matches or attending events (e.g., free concerts at the Philly FIFA Fan Fest) almost daily for 39 days - as well as seeing all kinds of wonderful content from our international visitors - it's a bit of a let down having life return to normal.
Gearing up to watch the World Cup final match, mixing Spanish cocktails for the duration, starting now for the pre-game, with a Pomada - basically a lemonade slushy with gin.
I'm getting the sense that some non-trivial percentage of recent ICE hires have been people who otherwise can't hold a job because they're unstable and emotionally disregulated.
