In July, Trump placed tariffs on imports from nearly every country, citing forced labor concerns. Blanket tariffs like this aren't industrial policy. They don't target sectors to build capacity, they just tax across the board. More evidence of a US shift. Read more here: doi.org/10.1017/S147...
