Steddie soulmates. It's the first touch they land on the other person and Eddie doesn't know how someones whole ass hand on his left butt cheek is the first touch someone ever lays on him until he's hiding from jocks in a cheer skirt and Steve Harrington temp cheer standin hoists him into the air.

Legitimately needed a cry today and I put on the song from this movie and instant tears. The lyrics are so beautifully tragic it hurts. 𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵'𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘥⁣ 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯⁣ 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶⁣ 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘴, 𝘭𝘦𝘵'𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯⁣ 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘸𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯

Hi, do you like devastating queer movies with beautiful scenery & cinematography, excellent acting, a fantastic soundtrack and an ending that will tear through your chest like an alien? Look no further, The Paradise of Thorns is on Netflix (not sure what countries) and it made me sob like a child.

The poster for Paradise of Thorns movie. The main characters are standing underneath a durian tree where the durians are all tied by red strings.

Jeff Satur as Thongkham stands to the left in a green shirt and Engfa Waraha is on the right as Mo Jongyoi

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.
