We saw a mysterious mustelid near Nada Lake on our Enchantments hike. The encounter stuck with me, so i wanted to try and sketch the sighting from memory.

Back from spending 4 amazing days backpacking the Enchantments! The most hiking I've done in a weekend. With the two ascents to the core: ~50 miles with 8000 feet of elevation. Glad we could camp, had plenty of time to explore and enjoy it compared to the thru hikers that usually seemed rushed.

Got lucky and won a permit to go backpacking in the Enchantments 🏔️ One of the hardest hikes I’ve ever done, but more than worth it to spend three nights in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.

Hiked 2miles up 1800ft of elevation with 25lbs of weight in a pack yesterday… and i dont even feel sore today! That would have destroyed my body two years ago. Incredibly cool that the work i’ve been putting in is actually doing something 😎

Favorite thing lately has been Roost Social. Its an app where you message people with digital carrier pigeons that travel of the speed of actual birds. I got penpals in Brisbane AUS and Stolkholm SWE. Excited to get their replies in…a literal week… 😅 It’s so stupid and unnecessary. I love it.

There is the coolest most chill reindeer here! Just walks around in this super photogenic farm and doesn't mind anybody! Just taking a nap 20 feet away from our van!

And then after a slightly intense moubtian pass, Borgarfjarðarhöfn - it's the absolute best spot to see puffins up close! I took hundreds of amazing photos, I don't know how to even start going through them!
