14 hours later and my mentions are still full of angry treatises about badly behaved cyclists. Bike lanes are not a reward for good cyclist behavior! They are infrastructure proven to make cities safer for ALL ROAD USERS. Whatever way cyclists have wronged you is irrelevant to the discussion!

Had a busy day yesterday! Saw The Odyssey in IMAX (I thought it was good!) then biked over to the Lowell Southeast Asian Water Festival, and took my parents to see Pink Talking Fish in Boarding House Park. Tired today tho!

Biked to work today! Feeling pretty good. Took the direct route and riding around Billerica center / route 3A still suck but I survived!

I downloaded strava today. Wanted something to track my walks and bike rides and sync it to something like wandrer.earth to show where I have and haven't been. I kinda hate it? It feels steeped in personal bests, grindset culture, and fitness purity. I just want to ride on my ebike and walk places.

Took a bike ride out to west Chelmsford, over to friendship park (where I got a Dirty Soda), out to the rail trial and Heart Pond, then back home. A decent ride, I'm a bit exhausted now. Selfie is from my trip to cafe eclipse earlier, I just think it looks cute.

Went down to Watertown and biked to Allston today for the Eat City Arts Festival! Got to ride along the Charles River, buy some fun stickers from local artists, hear some local music, and eat some nice food and drink. Good times plus RAT PARTY! 🐀🖤🐀🖤🐀

Biked to work today! Took a more direct route through Lowell and Billerica. Was a little rough (Billerica SUCKS for cycling, most of the roads are 40 mph stroads,and there was construction everywhere), but I made it there safely and in under an hour!

Went to a pop punk show of aging 90's punk bands tonight! (At Taffeta Music Hall in Lowell; Fenix TX headlined)

Another nice weather day today! I did a Costco run in the morning and picked up some stuff from Sephora, spent some craft time with my wife listening to an audiobook, went for a bike ride to the folk festival and archery (shot ok, not great) and got a ride back home

Back home! Saw a few more bands, walked around a lot, and started to feel exhausted and overstimulated so I came home. But folk fest is a good time that really feels beautiful in its multiculturalism, with people, art, food, and music from all over the world yet also uniquely American & New England

Lowell Folk Festival Thread incoming! It's a beautiful Saturday and I biked downtown this morning. Did up my makeup so I look extra cute while I'm out and about. Made it to the cafe (Cafe Eclipse) and got a bucket of lemonade. Enjoyed that and made my way downtown for the food stalls

DAC at the scale needed is mostly a fantasy. It might have some marginal use in sopping up the last dregs of CO2 emissions (if that), but the main job is still to get emissions down by at least 90%. But however expensive it turns out to be, it should be the fossil fuel companies that pay for DAC,
