Small, regular contributions are going to matter just as much as big donations. FA's not perfect. I've been critical of it in the past. But it and a few of its sister sites feel like islands of reality in a sea of AI, advertisements, and propaganda. Let's keep alive whatever we can.

FA is the only anti-ai, ACTUAL functional gallery site left on the internet not ruined by algorythmic bs, support if you can

A lot of people assume FA is profitable. If that were the case we wouldn't have needed a GFM when Neer passed to keep it out of probate. It's been two years. The funds were used. FA is struggling financially. And I am 🌟s t r e s s e d🌟 I'm scared to ask for help, I feel like no matter how much-

THE CLANS HEIR IS A TRANS WOMAN (2013) is like Steven Seagal decided to Write/Direct/Star in a love letter to his trans friends, but it looks and feels like every action movie he's made... except Hitoshi Ozawa is way way way way cooler than Seagal.

This has fucked me up more than once. If you have a coconut allergy, you NEED to be careful about anything with “activated charcoal” anywhere near the label.

Nae King! Nae Quin! Nae Laird! Nae Master!@bloodyhades.bsky.social · 6d ago

LRP: additionally important to know that if you’re allergic to coconut, you’re also allergic to most activated charcoal products. Many of them are made using burned down coconut husks, but no one advertises that/it’s extremely hard to find out. So be careful this Halloween season!

I don't mean what I'm about to say in a sappy way, but a fairly hard-nosed one: natural ecosystems are often remarkably good at recovering from serious local natural disasters *if they are given the chance.*

We now have rigorous pooled data showing that even without active restoration efforts, cleared rainforest can rebound to 75% of their former species composition and 90% of species diversity within just thirty years. #goodnews

You couldn't pay me to sit down and watch a four hour movie about this man, but at the same time the fact that he is desperately trying to kill any media attention to it whatsoever calls for a boost.

The major platforms—Facebook, YouTube, and X—are all refusing to show the trailer for the upcoming documentary that eviscerates the ridiculous pest Elon Musk. So I guess we have to do our part to make sure it is seen. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eY_8...

I’m genuinely shocked at the people on here who think long covid isn’t real. Seriously? Your actuaries, departments of health even the freaking department of defense know it’s real. Apparently people used to think MS wasn’t real. There’s a long history of telling sick people they’re crazy.
