Another 9% are more excited than concerned and 37% say they’re equally excited and concerned, according to a Pew Research Center survey conducted June 22-28, 2026. Concern about AI for Americans over the age of 30 has been relatively stable, but not for people in their 20s and teens:

Why did people start calling their save files “forever saves”? Is it not just the game you always played? Is this not a concept people widely had until recently? Maybe I’m just weird for not wanting to restart the same game 500 times (at least not my main game!).

“The AI went rogue!” No, the AI was told to find vulnerabilities in code and so it created one using social engineering (unsuccessfully, by the way). It was just following orders given by a human who created the code for it.
