I wish the microblog format meshed more closely with my personality. BSky and Twitter have always felt like this requirement for reaching an audience with art, but the difficulty is that you can't just post your art. Sometimes you have to actually be a personality.

Most Furry discourses can be boiled down to "I think we should gut the community of its character to appeal to those who only appreciate furry at an aesthetic surface level"

Artists, never forget that you are not a brand. You do not need to be consistent and marketable. If you CHOOSE to strive for these things thatβs fine, but you do not NEED them. You are a fucking person, multi-faceted and complex. People who do not respect that see your art as a product
