Haven’t posted here in some time. So many changes this year and its not even half way gone. I have had little time or motivation to create. Here’s a little illustration I did during a creative window - day dreaming of sunny days and ice cream.

To sleep, perchance to dream Whimsical mushroom character springs to life, radiating magic and wonder. This enchanting figure, with vibrant colors and delicate features, resembles a fairy tale forest dweller. It might reside under ancient trees and moss, adding magic and guarding woodland secrets.
I'm applying techniques from Aveline Stokart's Mastering Lighting and Shading 21Draw course. I often feel timid about lighting in my illustrations but aim to overcome this. Although the lighting still feels conservative, I believe I'm progressing in the right direction.
I recently discovered a captivating piece of art called #DTIYS by the talented artist @colors_by_jen, which sparked a burst of creativity within me to create my own version. I'm exploring the dynamic world of Clip Studio Paint, and experimenting with new brushes and a slightly different style.
