Got surprised by a very neat design trick in Wild Frost (a deck builder) : I arrive in a shop with 48 coins. There's a card I really want that is 49 coins. I go "Nooooo!!" and start clicking frantically on it. After clicking 5 - 6 times, the merchant goes "Ok you can have it". 😮 Brilliant.

My only ask for anyone building a dialogue system or a narrative system in engine is to please, PLEASE account for silence. Not "..." in the dialogue itself, but genuine unskippable moments of nothing for X seconds until the scene continues.
