This concept was introduced to me as "run the dishwasher twice" and was an important part of my executive functioning recovery as well as my path to self-acceptance.

I had managed to get over my 2025, but I learned something earlier this week that caused a massive amount of damage to my progress (which is why I keep posting through it). It sucks. It feels incredibly discouraging, and frankly, pretty humiliating. Nevertheless, we keep on trudging forward. ✊😔

many of the early and most successful game designers and developers were women most people don't remember their names today, or recall that video game history started before the Boys Toys era funny that many of the games I grew up loving most were designed by women and I never knew til years later

I'm chronically angry at that belief that "open worlds can't ever tell meaningful cohesive stories so we shouldn't even try" because not only is that not true, but this instinct is the very reason why projects don't even try to invest in resources to do better 😔
