The over-nationalization of our parties has been counterproductive for small 'd' democracy in our country. Pluralism within our big-tent parties is a good thing, not a bad thing.

Historians will call this elder abuse. Trump was never well—he’s been diseased in the head since childhood, from throwing rocks at babies to threatening local kids with a bat to trying to murder a classmate to stealing valor (incredibly) in *high school*—but he’s utterly gone. This is a horror-show.

Laura Ingraham invited disillusioned Democrats who don't align with the DSA platform to support the GOP. She thinks they should join a party that rubber stamps anything and everything their glorious leaders asks of them - including covering up for a deceased sex trafficker.
