texture is such a stopper for meat for me lol they inject so much fluid and shit into chicken these days that if we don't cook it to like, 190f it to burn off enough moisture it 'feels' undercooked in my mouth. And it's still juicy after that! like wtf same with pork, honestly

The two major alien ships introduced in TNG's first season are some of my favourites and I would argue hold up better today than many of the others that followed in terms of originality and refined detailing. The Warbird is a fan favourite but I feel like the Ferengi Marauder is somewhat slept on.

When you only have 8-10 episodes every episode has to advance the plot. No breathing space for character development (the characters don't get to breathe and neither do audiences) no room for episodes to suck either. You don't get a "Family" to decompress after "The Best of Both Worlds" anymore
