I've spent my entire life being warned that this was coming and wondering if humanity would see the light and fix the problem before it was too late. Kind of terrifying to realise that we're just about there, if not already past the point of no return.

"If the warming rate of the past 10 years continues, it would lead to a long-term exceedance of the 1.5 degree C limit of the Paris Agreement before 2030."

I rediscovered this weird notion in my Romulan ship blend file: The Rommie Connie! It's admittedly a very silly idea, but the more I thought about it the more sense it made. Or at least, the better my justifications sounded to meโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ˜…

A Romulan version of a Constitution-class starship, using the Bird of Prey shape as the saucer. Proportions are close but almost every detail is different. Heavy WIP model, BTW!Top-down comparisons of the TOS Enterprise, my Rommy Connie and the TOS Romulan Bird of Prey. Plus part of the ring of my current Warbird WIPโ€ฆ Rear angleSide profile. The neck is perhaps the greatest departure, being quite a bit thinner.

Some minor updates to the Schmitz-class Warbird. Mainly windows, hull markings and details on the bum. Enterprise for scale. Bird is 225m in length. I wanted it to feel comparable to the D'deridex-class vs. the Enterprise-D.

Side angle view of the Warbird showing new windows and detail of the connecting strut that wasn't really visible in the earlier shots. My own addition to Rick's design, but it felt necessary to me. The D'deridex has something similar.

The front part of the IMIS design would be the Mission Module crew compartment. In front of that were the payloads: three uncrewed probes and the MEM lander behind them. The Mission Module also contained Earth Entry Module for reentry at the end of the mission.

IMIS facing forward with the different payload vehicles visible and reflecting the Earth.
