In the subway, Katrina gives Desmond the slip, and hero Dauntless Durham arrives to put a stop to things. Eventually, all three of our characters chase each other onto the tracks.

Sunday comic strip "Naughty Pete." Little boy Pete is left in the car while his father runs into the store, Pop's being sure to tell Pete not to touch anything. Pete disobeys and touches the handle, and soon the car is racing through the streets, crashing through fences, food carts and past a women's suffrage march. With the car now totaled, Pete can do nothing but admit, "I guess Pop was right."

Comic strip "Sweep Out Padded Cell." An insane man thinks he's king of a magical kingdom who keeps declaring war on other magical kingdoms with perhaps double entendre names like Oysteria, Boobia and Sausagestan. As he declares war on Mars, a man from the insane asylum comes to collect. Each strip has a different named assistant sweeping out a different numbered padded cell, in this case Napoleon is sweeping out 1815.
