pretty happy with the first prelaunch landing page for @protobase.at. managed pds hosting service is new in the atmosphere, i know other have attempted a premium pdses but i think the audience that should be targeted this early is app developers. maybe i’ll create pds.club for end-users later 👀

pds as a service almost ready. federation working, account creation working, just need to test custom domains next (probably the most important part) the site is not ready, it'll just 404 if you try to access it. but follow @protobase.at to keep up now that it's really happening

been on a testing bender and have always hated that i can't really test my stuff on protocol. so i spent too much time and tokens working on a package that can standup an atproto testnet (pds, plc & relay) to have full integration testing locally. no more bs, fakes, mocks, and gaps in coverage

New handle, who dis? We realized @dept.social was not intuitive to read. But it turns out .PT TLDs exist. So we're @socialde.pt now (as long the extra verification gets approved). Way easier to read!

I have created a open PDS that is meant for testing accounts. Any account created on this PDS will be deleted in 7 days of its creation. Thought we needed a good way to test stuff without worrying about wasting other peoples compute/storage. Made this to test the account creation stuff
