This was my fourth year at Un Verano Sin Ti - a camp funded by The Good Bunny Foundation (AKA Bad Bunny). It’s an amazing experience for the kids (selected by teachers and social workers from public schools) and for me cuz I get to teach alongside my talented peers.
August will be better. I start a new teaching job. I get some freelance money. I’ll get back on track 🕯️
It’s been a rough summer. I knew it was gonna be tough money wise but 😬😬😬😬 it was a bit worse.

Gerry Conway has passed at 73. He leaves an incredible legacy. Co-creator of Punisher, Power Girl, Firestorm, Killer Croc, Jason Todd, Ms. Marvel. He also wrote a lot of tv including Law & Order. Best remembered for The Night Gwen Stacy Died? Probably? My condolences to his family and friends.

Then I was buying something at Walgreens and since the line was long they asked us to go to cosmetics in order. The woman behind me, dressed like she had money money, cut line, ignored the employees who corrected her and proceeded to pay and walk out without looking back.
I paid a bill mate and the response from the bank was “why don’t you always pay a month in advance?” And I had to explain to the employee that usually the reason people pay late is lack of MONEY not lack of WILL 🙄

A viral dog rescue from 2016 is now immortalized with a statue in Kazakhstan. When a dog fell into the Sayran reservoir, bystanders formed a human chain to pull him to safety. The statue is a reminder of the value of unity, solidarity and collective action. 14/10 for all
