Everybody talks about how they care about art criticism, that’s a bunch of baloney. What people want to hear is “your piece is VERY good.. perhaps you should add some highlights here and here 😇”
I studied under Cliff Wun. Have I been to an art critique? Friend, I was *giving* the art critiques. My brain is a machine that finds fault. And what I’m telling you is that it takes one to know one: Emily Wilson’s first critique was her, being mean. Period.
