The joy on his face kills me. He died thinking that she didn't choose him and love him the way he loved her, and yet she came for him to save him.
“The gap between the man I was and the one you want is finally gone.” It kills me how he died thinking she didn’t choose him & that he wasn’t good enough for her. He thinks the problem is solved because they can touch, but he doesn't know she chose him even when they couldn't.
