man. i think my experiences and knowledge of how the creative industries work is perfectly obvious to anyone reading over the threshold, but it's why i get touchy about people criticising gege in bad faith. i don't think most people have a clue how little control creatives have over their own work
also genuine question but how do you guys choose bits of your writing wips to post to social media bc i have no idea what to show. is it like. the important stuff? leading up to the important stuff?
as much as i love analyzing fanfic and thinking of how certain scenes can be improved (ONLY IN MY HEAD) its sooo hard to apply that to your own stuff. it's like, i've read this a billion times already i have no idea anymore if it's boring or stupid or annoying or good AT ALL
i dont think i actually managed to build up to the sex scene in a satisfying way. perhaps. which sucks and idk how to fix that without like stripping ALL of it but whatever we accept and move on
one type of characterization of megumi in fanfic and the like that i personally feel people might be getting wrong is his humor. I get that its fun to make him laugh really loud suddenly since he's so quiet but !! i think itd be so much more fun if he was laughing over something really fucked
