Almost two years ago, I posted a YouTube video titled "Unremarkable and Odd Places in Dark Souls." I haven't exactly stopped playing Dark Souls since then, and I've found many more spots that I want to include in a follow up to that video, and I want to know about weird little spots you think of!

When I was about 16 years old, I started playing Animal Crossing for the first time. I made a character that was approximately how I thought I looked, pre transition. That made me super uncomfy, so I transitioned my character 4 YEARS before realizing I was trans. I transitioned exactly the same way.

Super Mario 64 is a 2nd person game. It's not 3rd person because the pov isn't outside of the story, it's contextualized as someone watching the news, but it's not first person because you're not controlling the pov character.

So it turns out that editing ring effects in #darksouls is super easy. This definitely won't give me false hope for finishing the mod far faster than I was expecting, only to burn me out because I get stuck on another single problem for six more hours. I love modding :3

Currently working on a #DarkSouls mod, lots of little changes that will hopefully make the game feel fresh to veteran players. It's been super fun to work on so far, frustrating at times, but overall I've learned a ton and am excited to continue working on it.

I just beat Sonic '06 and decided to try out P '06 finally. I kinda hated it. It fundamentally changed everything that I loved about '06. Amy is now sonic with a hammer. Blaze is now Sonic with a double jump. Silver's pacing is completely broken. It removes the nuance from everything.

People say they want a silver focused game, and after playing his story in '06 I agree, but I feel like if they made one today it wouldn't be focused on puzzles and exploration like '06, it would just be Sonic but with telekinesis, which I think would be a lot less cool.

So I've been playing Sonic '06, emulated, so the load times aren't atrocious, with no other modifications, and, honestly? It's really fun. I'm genuinely just having a great time. People who don't like this game are cowards.
