Soon: I didn’t always agree with Donald Trump’s policy decisions, but he was a charming man; a real people person who cherished family and freedom above all else. He was a man of conviction not afraid to stand up for his beliefs. More than anything, I’ll remember his immeasurable love of country.

Maybe Vance doesn't know this part of history because it's in one of the books his administration has banned. The difference between the Watergate era and now is that back then, Republicans actually did something about a law-breaking president. Today, they only roll over for their cult leader.

When we took office, NYC had a $12B deficit. Today it’s zero. And we didn’t close that gap on the backs of working people. We closed it while funding parks, libraries, safer streets, & public housing. Call it Pothole Politics or Democratic Socialism: We are government that delivers for the people.
