It seems there were a few porkies told at the Royal Commission. I believe you have to take an oath or affirm to tell the truth if giving evidence. Why haven’t people been charged?

Ah for the good old days when the political right was against Medibank etc. Remember them telling us private enterprise does everything better? Remember the hospital staff who clean up your bodily fluids, no matter its origin? In North Carolina, nurses can bid against each other for open shifts.

I do not deny that there is religious bigotry. It’s a sad byproduct of religion. As a child, I wore a school uniform that advertised my religion, catholic, and I was assaulted. Bigotry is centuries old, yet there’s been no political will to try to fight this ignorance. 1 of 2

I have an idea for a hit TV series. After America has stopped destroying itself and ICE is disbanded. It’s reality TV and therefore cheap and tasteless. It follows ex ICE thugs around to see how they are treated in the community. It’ll be a weathervane of the American societal consciousness.

The Guardian. Of the 199 complaints that included a concern around “fees and charges” or “funding for services relating to ageing” at residential facilities, 121 relate to for-profit providers; 75 to not-for-profit providers, and 3 were about government providers. Private business does it better!
