With #StarWarsStarfighter (a #PostSkywalkerSaga film set during the #NewJediOrderEra) releasing next year, it's way, way too late for him calling to decanonizing the sequels; doing so would be a complete disrespect to the late Carrie Fisher's final performances. Avoid this guy like the plague.
I meant they keep demanding that these movies be erased because they hate them, without seeming to care that they’re someone else’s childhood Star Wars.

After a decade of #StarWars sequel trilogy hate, I think this is just going to be my internal reaction now whenever some giant YouTuber or figure calls for the sequels to be erased/decanonized:

anyone who comes to the conclusion that the sequels should be erased from canon immediately lose MY respect, bc not only do they disrespect the people who worked on them, but they disrespect us sequel fans too they can dislike them, but to demand decanonization is incredibly immature and selfish

Just gonna say one last time this week: the sequel trilogy is a fantastic #StarWars trilogy that deserves to exist, just like all the other movies and media in Star Wars. And this trilogy and its fans deserve MORE stories.
I put on a video about Star Wars that appeared on my feed and barely 30 seconds in the creator mocked people who like the Sequel trilogy. Yeah that's a no from me. I don't care if you like a movie or not, but don't insult people for their opinions on said movie.
This is why I’ve had to distance myself entirely from the Star Wars fandom on YouTube as a sequel fan because virtually everyone there is hostile. Doubly so when even non-SW YouTubers throw sequel hate or insult sequel fans randomly (penguinz0 for instance, but I’m certain there’s many other cases).

I’ve always said this for #StarWars ever since 2019, and will continue to say this: Rey Skywalker was a compelling, well written, down to earth, and fantastic character in Star Wars that deserved so much more recognition than the fanbase gave her ever since then, or even way back, ever since 2015.

people can say "oh I didn't like this movie as much as the others" or "oh I just didn't really like it but I don't mind if others like it" BUT DO NOT. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. INVALIDATE MY LIKING OF SOMETHING. that's like a declaration of war to us autistic people, so MISS me with that shit 😤
Uh... because it's good and people like it? The better question to ask is why SHOULDN'T they keep making new Star Wars. The fans are the majority. The haters are the loud minority (and we should never call them "fans"). Never forget that.

Not everyone is going to like Star Wars. But at the same time, a lot of people still do, and that’s the exact reason why. Because of those who still do and actually do love it no matter what.

Because there’s a multitude of galaxies and stories left to explore. The generational impact these films have had are timeless. They’re still relevant (maybe now more than ever). These stories mean something to people. And they’re worth telling.

Disclosure Day. 7.6/10 I’ve been waiting for so long to watch a Spielberg movie in a theatrical setting. What I got was not that bad of a comeback (maybe I expected a bit much). But it was also too convoluted at times I lost track of what it was about. Still, a great time.
