Not content with being transphobic, the Perpetually Cancelled Professor Kathleen Stock is now being ableist over young women who use walking sticks, calling it a 'social contagion' (much like they claim being trans is). Can we just stop platforming these hateful bigots?

Screen capture of a Times headline for an article by Kathleen Stock titled "Why are young women using walking sticks?" With the subtext of "A disproportionate number of Gen Z females are affected by vague syndrome and may be victims of social contagion"

Andy Burnham’ posts/opinions in the last few days 1) Stand up drinking in pubs 2) Devolution 3) Everton football club Things Andy Burnham has not commented on: 1) Toilet policing for trans people 2) Racist lynch mobs in Thetford 3) Drought and wildfires caused by climate change

Just a reminder that: - this isn't for workplaces and if your work is trying to implement it scare them over discrimination claims - the onus is on the service provider, not the service user to comply - the code *itself* says enforcement of toilet facilities is unworkable and low priority

EHRC Code of Practice comes into effect today so remember to be an absolute pain in the arse to any service provider who is trying to actively enforce it.

The Times, one of the leading voices when it comes to 'protecting women and girls' calling a man who assaulted his young pregnant girlfriend, said he would rape the kids if he was a teacher and called for child sex abuse porn to be legal, 'brilliant'

Rod Liddle, who has died aged 66, combined a serious intellect with razor-sharp wit, writes Alex Farber

Rod Liddle has died. Odious columnist for The Times & Spectator who hated on minorities including the disable, immigrants, and trans people. Here are Rosie Duffield, Kathleen Stock & Julie Bindel mourning his death, coupled with screenshots from two articles Rod wrote defending paedophilia.

What I want for trans + people in the UK. The puberty blocker ban lifted. The toilet ban scrapped. Supreme Court ruling overtuned/made ineffective. An informed consent model for gender affirming care. Self ID. Non-Binary people legaly recognised. No trans + censorship in schools.

Genuinely disappointed in this from @amnestyuk.bsky.social @amnesty.org . Caving in and apologising for calling out transphobia, and going one step further by deleting your previous report on anti trans rhetoric? Utterly shameful. Goodbye Amnesty LGBTQ+ wristband and monthly donation.

Amnesty have issued an apology to JK Rowling and the rest. Adjust your expectations, and donations, accordingly www.amnesty.org.uk/latest/an-ap...

150,000 marched yesterday in London for trans rights. Opened the Sky News app. Scrolled and scrolled. Nothing. BBC News app. Nothing. Guardian app. Nothing. This is what actual silencing looks like.

Having just been to Pride today, this is incredibly scary. We don't know if this was an accident or intentional, but my heart goes out to those injured. Right now, oir thoughts need to be on the victims, not the religion or race of whoever was responsible. www.independent.co.uk/news/world/e...

🚨 BREAKING We've filed a complaint to the Charity Commission about Sex Matters, detailing 46 incidents which we think, together, amount to misconduct and mismanagement. But we also need wider action against charities spreading hate - help us tell the government & Commission they must step up 👇

🚨 Bridget Phillipson remains as the Minister for Women and Equalities After FWS Phillipson publicly stated that trans women should use men's toilets. She recently signed into force harmful & discriminatory statutory guidance which will devastate trans lives. Suggests no change re. trans rights.

The full on open shift of labour to far right can be pegged to spring of 2024 culminating in the june 2024 meeting JK Rowling had to assure Labour would harm trans people to ensure Labour kept getting money from Rowling.

So not only do we have Labour / Bridget Phillipson failing to withdraw the EHRC guidance despite the motion being signed by 166 MPs, we now have Labour MPs trying to silence *checks notes* Amnesty International for calling out bigotry and transphobia?!

When I criticize Dems in the United States who waffle on transgender issues, its because I don't want them turning into Labour UK, who pretty much has fully espoused transphobia and is enacting extreme harm on trans people in that country far worse than the conservatives had done.

I have deleted my previous post about Anne Widdecombe. It was posted at 8am, well before the news broke that she had been murdered. Despite her political views and homophobia, murder is never justified.

Happy 100th Birthday to the legend that is Mel Brooks! A comedy genius, responsible for so many films in the farce / parody genre, including Spaceballs, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, The Producers (and its musical remake), Silent Movie, and so many more.
