Citizens spilled out of houses, flooding the streets with panic, but not with chaos. They filed with an orderly urgency, a river of people flowing out of the city towards the sea of trees in the surrounding jungle. This was the #fruit of constant attack. They had grown prepared. #VSS365 (pt5)

I can't teach French! I can’t speak French. There's only so far A language dictionary Can go. I don’t know How to form A sentence That’s structured With verbs And nouns, Can’t wrap My head around Gendered words Or find the past Participles of verbs. How absurd To expect A lesson To teach a classroom The language When I Don’t know A word.

After the success of the first Odd Challenge on poems in the future tense, here is a second one - John Keats did it with "La Belle Dame sans Merci", as did Wilfred Owen with "Dulce et Decorum Est". Can you write a poem with a title in another language? Tag them #OddChallenge, and share the prompt.
