If I were the chair of the DNC and a Democratic gubernatorial candidate was attacked in the critical midterm election year, I’d probably highlight the fact that Donald Trump and the right have been stoking political violence for years with conspiracy bullshit and civil war rhetoric.

There are times when I wonder if all of these political posts I read, like, share and save really make a difference outside of Bluesky? Those who have great info only post here, but it feels like they're posting and screaming at a soundproof wall.

9/ A poll can influence donations, news coverage, endorsements, turnout and whether voters believe a candidate can win. That makes polling more than measurement. In the wrong hands, it becomes political advertising wearing a lab coat.
