I find it a little ironic that the best pizza in my area is down at the local pub. That said, they do have a proper woodfire oven and make a great Neopolitan-style pie. Also later on in summer, the deck outside is full of water dragons running between the tables and chairs. I love it.

I got my updated wake code working for Gunwale and now I'm just experimenting with it to get the right graphic look to it. On one hand, I feel like I'm spending too much time on it then on the other, it is something you're going to be seeing all-the-time. So it has to be pretty good.

Saw Spider-Man and enjoyed it very much. Loved how often they did fx shots that showed the scale of Spidey against the building and also how much they had him in the mask - that felt REALLY spidey. Great action, great acting, just great.

Took a break to get back into Clip Studio Paint, which frankly gets better every release and is probably actually worth it - side-eyes Photoslop. Whatever the next BK thing is when I get to it, it's probably going to be some super cute-looking 2D thing, with mechs... and grappling hooks.

🎉 Happy Birthday to Krome Studios' CEO, Robert Walsh! 🎂 For more than two decades, Walshy has helped guide Krome Studios and even inspired Rex from TY the Tasmanian Tiger. Please join us in wishing Walshy a wonderful birthday! 🎉 Here's to another great year ahead! 🥳

I spent today rewriting the wake code for Gunwale from scratch. The previous version - sorta works but required a lot of helper objects. The version I wrote today gets rid off all of them and works better. So, time well spent... so far. I still have to merge it into the game code next week.

Man, this hits hard. The Goodies were a huge part of my youth. Bill wrote so many great songs that are still stuck in my head. I'm glad I got to see them live talking about the show back when I went to visit my brother in England in 89. Time to hit that box set again.

Farewell Bill, most radical of the Goodies. Present at Grosvenor Square with Tariq & Vanessa. Turned his harassment by the Met into slapstick TV comedy for kids. Angry, hairy, furiously talented.
