Extremely excited & proud to share our new preprint - we provide for the first time a single cell map of the mouse brain across sex, the estrous cycle, and peripartum! Data are 🔥 👇 "Single-cell map of the female brain across reproductive transitions" www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...

It is worth reminding every American today that the people who hid Anne Frank were outlaws. The people who sent her to die in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp were law-abiding citizens.
It is hard to express enough how terrible today's decision is. ICE will now send people to countries they've never been to or even heard of — Mexicans to South Sudan, Vietnamese to Libya, Venezuelans to Kosovo —and those people will have no right to challenge that decision.
This was a really fun project: We blocked obesity in mice by making them do a tiny bit of work for their food. www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

Lol. They released their 400 page US version of the Cass Review and refused to even name who the authors were. It's a glorified book report. Anyway, this is out now y'all. I'll be looking it over today. opa.hhs.gov/sites/defaul...

Our paper is out in DPP! This is the SECOND paper from my lab, but the first headed entirely by summer students: College senior Benjamin Babaev and High school senior Saachi Goyal (!!). They also created an easy to use site so anyone can use the machine learning resource for staging estrous cycle
🆕 in DPN‼️ @rossenator.bsky.social & co @einsteinmededu.bsky.social developed an object detection machine learning tool to identify cell types of the estrous cycle in mice, providing a fast & reliable method for estrous cycle monitoring in neuroscience studies! www.nature.com/articles/s44...
