MY SHOW IS TONIGHT please come out if you’re able!

I’ll be playing a benefit for the Marsh P. Johnson Fund at Kirby’s Beer Store on the 25th! If you’re anywhere in the Midwest, I would love it if you came. This’ll be my first show in a few years, and I have a brand new MIDI setup alongside some new songs. I hope to see you there!

Personifying my music equipment but doing it in a cute-mean way like when people call their dogs names affectionately

Telephone is a really great song because Lady Gaga and Beyoncé sell it. You listen to that song and you believe that getting a call while out is a life or death situation

Unused cutscene for the American release of Kirby's Dream Land.

Did they really have to call themselves the Goo Goo Dolls

I keep getting texted to participate in polls which I’m normally fine with because I understand how important polling data is, but also when an unknown number texts me a mysterious redirect link with a shortened URL, my immediate instinct is to avoid it

[puyo] really quick arle scribble

The Futureheads are a band I think only 5 other people know about

I wonder if it’s true and they were working on Quake 5 and were trying to make it Lovecraftian again but just like last time it leads to a nightmare development cycle and people are laid off for no reason

I already announced this on discord but wanted to here as well; I will be in Denver for Denfur late August! If anyone I know is in the area during that timeframe and is interested in meeting or talking, please let me know! I’m always looking for new connections

I’ve basically watched nothing but OVAs this year in terms of anime I’ve seen. I’m planning to try watching Gunsmith Cats next or maybe the Dragon Half OVA. Otaku no Video was such a good time even if it was entirely different from what I expected

People don’t talk about Chibi Robo enough already, but no one ever talks about how it’s an game centered around economic insecurity. You’re a robot trying to prove to a debt ridden family on the brink of collapse you are a worthy investment. You pay the electric bill at one point

The only two things I know of that use USB-B are musical instruments and printers

I think that the humble giant salamander is a beautiful creature. What’s not to love about them? They are long and elegant but also slippery, but possess just enough of a down to earth nature that they don’t seem ostentatious. Wondrous creatures

I am always appreciative of new ears listening to Stevie Wonder’s music but it is really funny to me that we went from LOCASH “Isn’t She Country” to Amazing Digital Circus soundtrack inclusion in about 2 years

I was informed today that the Shining series is furry media and it immediately got bumped up to the top of my game list

Everybody please buy the new Star Fox game so they can let Krystal out of the freezer beneath Super Nintendo World

star fox is samsara and unless fox mccloud lets go of his worldly attachments (his place in the melee tier list) he will never attain the nature of buddha and leave the cycle (getting a third game)

Koizumi playing thumb wrestling is such an old E3 moment I love it

TAke a look, y’all:

Persona 6 being advertised like a horror game and the new mascot character for it will be a worm wearing a top hat

Imagine working a 9-5 in California. Steve Hilton is projected to win, SR 91 is closed, and, right as your alarm goes off, Nintendo announces that Captain Falcon is in hospice care

I think one of my favorite things about pride month are the stories that are shared; not just coming out stories but also stories like when you realized you were queer, how you met your soulmate(s), where were you when XYZ happened, etc. I just love hearing experiences

A lifesize Fox McCloud cutout has manifested at the local amusement store. But Nintendo could not have predicted the hungry masses at the door, lying in wait. The employees are tired. The sun is setting. Soon, they will find themselves fighting for survival in the Twilight Zone.
