It's unsurprising to me a creator who seemingly bases his entire self worth on his output was lulled into using LLMs to increase his output beyond his human means. It's still disappointing, given how said creator is supposed to be a source of trusted information. I hope he learns and grows.
The existence of piston valve instruments in Middle Earth implies a level of technology that while you cannot simply walk into mordor, there is a 3:10 steam train to Bree every Saturday. In this essay I will...

“A simple data-entry error, magnified and broadcast nationwide by a growing surveillance network operated through an opaque partnership between a private company and public agencies, led police to identify me as a car thief and set up a sting to take me down.”
Got called into urgent voiceover work at the library on Thursday. So glad to play a tiny part of this: www.instagram.com/reel/DaED42Y...

Well thanks to @loadingreadyrun.com and @graham.loadingreadyrun.com I got to be very surprised by an unexpected acronym on a work sign today.
I'm starting to think Doc Samson found his psychiatry degree at the bottom of a can of whey protein.
"What do we do when we feel sad?" “Booster packs?” “Booster packs.” #MTGxMarvel
Okay since we continue to treat Dan Slott’s bad joke as gospel (unlike actual Marvel editorial), let’s talk Big Bertha. Bertha is a superhero who can manipulate her mass and become stronger and more durable. As part of a joke team from Milwaukee, the ‘joke’ is she’s also a slender supermodel. 1/?
UB sets are made for shelf appeal at mass market stores. The demographic they appeal to isn't likely to play a multi-hour tournament to try the new card. Also, the pressure to fill in gaps and slots for a large set with an IP that isn't yours leads to weird card decisions (ex: Big Bertha). 2/
New @spikefeeders.com video? Great. @mentalmisplay.bsky.social 's tie-dye Hausu shirt? Exquisite.
You are upset because there are 6 Clint Barton Cards. I am upset because none of the 6 Clint Barton Cards put him in his goofy ass purple suit. We are not the same.

Yesterday a library patron pulled out her phone to use ChatGPT while I was helping her because she wanted to shortcut the research I was walking her through. It failed miserably, and she said ‘I expected better of you ChatGPT’. Sadly professionalism prevented me from saying “I didn’t!”
Godspeed to @coachnelly.bsky.social @wheeler.bsky.social and @sergeyager.bsky.social as they embark on a set review that has to tackle sorting through something like 500+ new cards across Marvel Super Heroes product lines.
So, unusual request, and would appreciate any boosts, but would any one be willing to share any small stories or experiences related to food and Magic the Gathering? Can be as short as “well I like to grab pizza next to my LGS” or even a fun little anecdote if you have one!

Other MC:Vegas anecdote, I got to have a fun 'in the wild' encounter with @seananmcguire.bsky.social , running into her while waiting for a table at a cool restaurant. Of course, I was too brain tired to say more than it was great to see her. Forgot to tell her how much I loved Discount Armageddon.
