I can tell these decals are 30 years old, thankfully nothing I can’t fix with paint though
Im surprised the little Amsteam could pull all 6 of the new club cars.
Pick-up Goods Train. Minffordd was - and remains - a minor halt for passenger trains on the Cambrian Coast Line. This place was built for swapping freight between narrow and standard gauge. It makes for a lovely slow shunting scene in the foreground on our layout.
First of the brass Overland CV milk cars almost done, just have to get the other car specific decals made
Why did you transition? Right answers only. The covid vaccine did it. I wish I was kidding...
why did you transition? right answers only. being a lesbian sounded more fun than whatever I was doing before
I finally added the gold striping to the parlor car. Thankfully the masking didnt lift the numbers.
The T motor is finished! She only can manage 4 cars around the club layout unfortunately.
Well the walls are in place and the steps have been glued in. Its been too hot to do much on it. Next is the roof.
Managed to work on the combine a bit more. One side glued in. I wish I had more time or energy to work on stuff.
Randomly decided to start on a new coach, an open vestibule combine to match the upcoming bachmann coaches. Of note, this isnt a normal labelle 50' kit. Its actually for a 60' open vestibule doodlebug that Im converting to a coach. Ive already got the ends finished and one side mostly assembled.
Decals decals decals. And I realized after putting the numbers on I forgot to paint the gold striping. Fuck. Hopefully the masking tape doesnt pull off the numbers....

The newest parlor car has been painted. After touchups, its looking pretty good. Next to do is decals.
You know, even without spilling most of my microsol and microset (which I did), doing this was some real sweating bullets material. Those things were tiiiny and so very easy to lose, scratch up, stick to fingers in unretrievable ways. But it's done.
Okay, workshop heater's on- we're doing it. We're decalling. Pray for mojo.
After six prototype prints I have now finally started assembling V6.0 of the Porter Fireless kit as the first test and to create instructions. Going well so far!
In an effort to add a bit more weight, Ive filled the big roof box with liquid gravity.
The T motor lives! Shes loud and pulls nothing but she runs!
