Yes. They hounded him to death. Days and days of breathless undoing. Damn them all.

The big problems with this are that 1) it is up to university management (Präsidium etc) to decide what constitutes an offence. These extrajudicial committees can make decisions that ultimately lead to deportations. Why no independent council that is less bound by academic-management affiliations?

Machtmissbrauch in der Wissenschaft: wichtiges Thema, gut, dass hier in der Gesetzgebung NRW, NDS) was passiert. Aber Achtung, dass dabei nicht durch die Hintertür Aktivismus und politische Arbeit an Hochschulen kriminalisiert wird. Die geplante Ermächtigung von Unileitungen ist hoch problematisch.
