Hey, #Kubernetes friends, go vote in the Steering election! Yes, I know, we have a slate of so many amazing candidates and decisions are difficult - but if you are an eligible voter, your input is needed! groups.google.com/a/kubernetes...

git status --porcelain is a godsend for writing scripts. From the man page: --porcelain: Give the output in an easy-to-parse format for scripts. This is similar to the short output, but will remain stable across Git versions and regardless of user configuration.

I'd love to catch up with you if you're attending #KubeCon next week! Drop by for my talks (with Priyanka Saggu) if you're interested in learning how CEL is shaping the future of Kubernetes in its second decade :)

Contributing to open source sometimes feels like arcane magic, but it doesn't have to be! Here are some tips and tricks to get start with @cilium.io

Earth did not survive a collision with another planet, hundreds of asteroid and comet impacts, hundreds of millions of years of deadly radiation from space, five mass extinctions, and literally freezing solid for you to give up on her now.

This really is a great idea

I’m a nerd so I’m going back and reading all the books I had to read in AP English in high school to see how my perspective has changed as an adult. I’m almost done with Pride & Prejudice lol. Think I’ll start The Awakening next.

Very excited to nominate @xmudrii.bsky.social as our next @kubernetes.dev SIG K8s Infra Tech Lead 🎉 groups.google.com/g/kubernetes...

I made a thing! I was playing around with the AT protocol and as a little experiment I made a website that visualises activity around Bluesky: nightsky.hctr.dev It listens to all new posts and shows them as little stars across a night sky 🌃 Every star is someone, somewhere, posting something

Nightsky | hctr.dev

See live conversations from all over Bluesky as a dynamic night sky

So many people sharing their stories about @krisnova.net makes me happy she lives on I made this to remember her and I’m sure some of the stories will resonate with others If you never met her you missed out

We say goodbye to KubeCon Co-Chair @thenikhita.bsky.social. Thank you for all your work!

The Kubernetes Family Feud keynote was super fun 😂

In the age of AI, short form video and hot takes, the competitive advantage of the future is the ability to go deep, read the docs, build something new, learn hard things that take time.

You know that Nintendo Direct where all the games were charming life-simulation farming RPGs? This #KubeCon keynote is like that, but with AI platforms.

YET another bluesky list of k8s folks, this time it's those who directly work in (and members of) various community github orgs. bsky.app/profile/did:... If you are one, add a bluesky url in your github profile and poke me to re-run my script. cc @kubernetes.dev @kubernetes.io #kubecon

I missed the picture of the slide on screen at the contributor summit, but wanted to send out a special congratulations and thank you to @arvindparekh.bsky.social! You've been doing great work in the Kubernetes Community and we wanted to recognize your work in SIG ContribEx with a Contributor Award!
