Researchers found that high-stakes conditions, where large investments meet deep existing inequities, exist across every ocean basin.

Another, co-authored by WCS’s @stacyjupiter.bsky.social, assessed more than 35,000 coastal and marine projects across 84 countries and found that only 27% explicitly considered equity.
