I think translating Shadow Cry has genuinely been one of the funniest experiences as a P3 fan, learning that there's just a book where Strega gets to be both deep characters and absolutely goofy

Depressingly, my laptop decided to fry itself after five years of service. Opening it up and finding burn marks on the motherboard sure was a surprise lmao. I’ll still be translating stuff, since I got all my data and programs on my desktop too. Just, y’know, a little slower now.

If you had asked me a couple years ago, I would not have said Persona 3 Jin could have any amount of depth or complexity comparable to just this one section lol

I think Jin juggling his grenades absolutely proves that Shadow Cry Jin is not the same Jin from the regular Persona 3 story, but I'm okay with that lol. I think I've come to love the author's dorky interpretation of Jin that gives him some more personality to work with. This scene is also so great.

I like, berserked my way through Chapter 2 of Shadow Cry and finished it up. Totally doesn't have anything to do with the fact that Jin has way less dialogue in this chapter or something. It occurs to me that this book will need a "depictions of self-harm" warning though. Have a nice moment though,

Persona 3 Shadow Cry Update Post!!! I'm an awesome 25/36 pages into Chapter 2, and 64/254 pages into the overall book! That's a quarter way already! This is maybe one of my fav parts? Knowing no one in Strega cooks makes complete sense, and Izumi working at Hagakure is so awesome.

I love the fun dynamic that Izumi and Ken have in Chapter Two of Shadow Cry. While Izumi kinda does feel like he's serving a big brother role here in a rather awkward way because Ken doesn't know him too well, Izumi still comes off as charming and like he's trying his best lol

I’ve been on, like, the biggest Kikuno kick of my life, I think. I combed through her audio drama lore to realize that I got her timeline of events wrong lmao. Been writing a small Kikuno/Mitsuru thing on the side to post eventually too and aaaaa, she really is the world’s best maid.

Kikuno Saikawa appreciation post! Kikuno is seriously my favorite supporting character of the P3 cast that doesn’t show up in Persona 3 lol. The New Moon/Full Moon audio dramas where she debuts in are the best ones and honestly I’m devastated she’s only showed up in one game.

I found the bug in P5 where during the final boss, phase 2's textures map onto Metatron for some reason lol I misunderstood this at first and thought it was some unique interaction where Metatron degrades or rusts during the fight. How cool that would've been actually, considering who it is...
