Mermay continues with a certain plundering pirate and resident of kitchen island: Captain Syrup Surprising amount of treasure to be found in the sea, it seems. Not sure who made that solid gold tail she has... or how she intends to swim in it, either... #SuperMario

Captain Syrup, lounging on a huge pile of gold coins on the sea bed. She's wearing a golden bikini top and mermaid tail, plus her usual purple bandanna and arm straps. --- Admittedly a random character to pick for mermay given I've never drawn her before, but someone suggested it and I figured I'd give drawing her a go. I imagine there'd be a fair bit of treasure lost in those shipwrecks and seems Syrup had the same idea. Not sure why she decided to make some of the gold into a novelty tail or leave a bunch of coins in a big pile on the sea floor... maybe she just wanted to show off?

my twitter account got hit by this "inauthentic behaviors" ban going around to a ton of accounts recently because of whatever account bot purge thing they're trying to do what nonsense, this better go away soon and my account better be restored, i was talking to a ton of people recently :/
