having a retail job again for the first time in actual YEARS has made me realize the importance of good shoes. and also the fact that I don't have any. so guess who splurged part of their most recent paycheck (after paying bills) on getting some actually decent insoles \o/

Job doesn't start until tomorrow and we're short on rent again. I'm still working through my own comms due to some mental health shit that came up but go commission my partner so we can keep a roof over our heads- www.tumblr.com/battydemon/8...

sometimes you graduate high school and realize that the daytime sleep schedule is total ass and abandon it sometimes after doing that for several years you realize it's causing you crippling mental illness symptoms and have to force yourself to start waking up early again for the sake of your brain

WELL IN GOOD NEWS I HAVE A JOB NOW!!! starting on the 28th, so that's going to be great to have. might need to do one more round of fundraising bc the first job didn't end up getting back to me in time but we should be good afterwards \o/

With the twitch AI bullshit, I'm adding a tag to my streams so y'all know it's safe to chat in and/or raid! Also, even if you're just a chatter PLEASE TURN IT OFF! IT AFFECTS YOU TOO! It's in Settings -> Security and Privacy

At this point I'm wondering what I'd be able to do quickly to be able to make the money needed for rent at LEAST. that's roughly $900 and everything i'm finding online says surveys which...pay literal cents in my experience.

EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS AGAIN UNFORTUNATELY We have like...less than a week at this point to come up with roughly $1000 to make expenses total so we don't get evicted. I have a couple job offers lined up that I'm waiting to hear back on but in the meantime prices below.

definitely gonna have to save working on this commission more for tomorrow but I may have to make another emergency funds post so we don't get evicted... god I hate how expensive living is and how hard it's become to get a job. hoping the places I'm interviewing at offer me positions ;-;

burnout and stress are awful things because they'll have you knocked on your ass unable to do things you need to do And then the next round of stress comes along and you're forced to continue the first thing anyway to maybe find ways to stop THIS round of stress-

you have ONE ☝️bad tech experience online and you'll start thinking that Viktor Vodyanoi from hit game Warframe is right actually maybe we SHOULD throw out our technology

🚨 KOSA UPDATE The added "duty of care" standard would force websites to identify minors to avoid legal risk, pushing the internet toward ID checks, facial scans, mass age-gating, excessive data collection and censorship FOR EVERYONE. Next comes a full Senate vote. Contact your senators NOW. (1/2)

The Senate Commerce Committee just passed KOSA out of committee with zero debate & failed to move the SCREEN Act. punchbowl.news/article/tech...

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

More Zelda theory dumping that’s either “oh wow” or “yeah no shit dude”

I hope anyone considering actually preordering GTA6 considers this very important fact: It's not worth $80. also it's a modern game so it's likely going to be an unoptimized 255 GB trainwreck.

found out one of my friends had a spare soulframe code so guess what I'm gonna be playing more tomorrow-

can't believe I got gaslit by spotify's lyrics for "What's In It For Me" by set it off. also no lyrics site can agree what's in the chorus so that's fun

Forgot to update sooner, but we were able to make rent for the month! Probably gonna work on making a better commissions post and keep the status in my name updated to reflect the status soon.

"Let's advise against using fireworks but ultimately let the cities decide! Surely this will fix our problem :)" Several hours later "Why are there sirens :("

just found out they make special electrolyte hydration caprisun. why does this taste more like the original fruit punch ones than the normal one???

Rent is due TODAY and we're still $360 short! It's likely that we're going to get hit with the late fees, so the goal is bumped up to $900!!! Please help us not get evicted I would like to keep having a roof over my head.

Realized I can't edit posts so! Rent is due TOMORROW and I have $140 out of the $400 we need. Any boosting and commission interest would help a LOT

Finally drawing my drifter more so everyone has to look at this horrible techrotted orokin #tennocreate #warframe
