i worked on that comic for a week on and off between classes, i'd do a page or two after i was done with my other work. i originally was going to make it polished and not just a sketch but that would've added like.. multiple more weeks worth of work. but i think the sketches still look nice!!

Today we would like to recognize Ken Sample aka Ken Cougar. A Black man who is credited with creating and coining the term "Fursona". While drawing one of his "Exotics" Ken drew a Cougar character that looked strikingly like himself. Attendees of this conference also wanted their own characters!

i think what i mean by all of that is that it feels very much like an "art as a product" type of thing. you're doing it to fit the trend and often the point of leaning into trends is to get the views and likes for it. but it should be about having fun... i worry we're losing that idea sometimes
