Breast cancer outlier Flat Closure friendly Dxed 1998 de novo metastatic Reoccurrence Mar 2022 Disease progression July 2024 (I am also Gremlands)

Asked GROKai for a BlueSky post on MBC tings “TROPION-Breast01 trial just wrapped up! Datopotamab deruxtecan (IV ADC) beat chemo in HR+, HER2- metastatic breast cancer, delaying growth by 6.9 vs. 4.9 months. Better quality of life too! Final survival data coming in 2025.Big step for MBC treatment!”

I’m having a salad for lunch. Wish me luck 😳 (For reference I’m on Verzenio, main side effect diarrhea proceeded by intense abdominal cramps, the kind that make you rock and uncontrollably say “ow ow ow fucking ow” out loud. This happens approximately 4-5 days a week. Sometimes at 2am.)

I started Verzenio on January 1st, and was encouraged that I wasn’t having too many side effects. Fast forward and starting this week I have been plagued with the worst GI gut cramping, 2am bathroom sprints, eating Imodium like they’re Pez candies side effects. The timing makes me go hmmmmm 🤨

The life of a MBC patient: it looks like my liver can’t tolerate Kisqali. This is the first time my body has said “nope” with its full chest (pun intended) While other treatments have been difficult, none of them have been a serious threat to my well being/life if continued. TBC tomorrow…

Apparently some people have no issue with other people removing *some* healthy breast tissue (breast reduction) but removing the entire breast is tsk-tsked over. Key phrase: OTHER PEOPLE The point? You are not the one living in that meat suit, *they* are.

Managed to get thru last week with minimal stress and moderate fatigue. Here’s the question: is it the actual social interaction or my anxiety leading up to it that is the most fatigue inducing? Or just a fine mixture of both… 🥺

You know that song that goes “Horrified looks from everyone in the room”? I swear that that’s how it feels sometimes when I say I’m Stage 4. I get it, it’s scary. But I’ve had to sit with so many awkward silences afterwards 🫥

If House Republicans really wanted to protect women, they'd release the Ethics Committee report on Matt Gaetz' alleged sex trafficking - not try to ban their colleagues from using the bathroom. Stop the bigotry and release the report.
