This week we had family learning events: Health& relaxation course with Clyde college and Families Connect. Plus our Baby Strings concert, P4-7 City of dance event @ Holyrood, Owl workshop for p2s and 3s, outdoor drama workshops as well as the whole school taking part in fun Science week activities!

What a busy week! Our fab HMIE report was published, P7 pupils received the sacrament of confirmation from Archbishop Nolan, P5 released the brown trout they have been harvesting with Clyde In the Classroom, our gymnastics team won 1st place medals at a schools event & we celebrated World Book Day.

To celebrate the feast of St Brigid, our children could dress down today. Some of our children wore their traditional cultural clothing.

On Thursday our Language Ambassadors presented an assembly to promote Languages Week from 2nd-6th Feb. They told us that there's a staggering 20 languages spoken at St. Brigid's! Very impressive. Each week we will focus on how to say HELLO and THANK YOU in one of our languages. This week is Mandarin

We've had a busy week at St. Brigid's this week! Huge congratulations and thanks to Primary 2 for their very informative assembly about Extreme Weather. Everyone spoke clearly and presented their work with confidence! Great job 👏👏👏

Well done to ZA in P4 who received a Blue Peter badge for the artwork she sent to them connected to reading books! Well done, we are so proud of you!

Primary 3 worked in small groups, each with some instructions and a paper bag. They were exploring the environment for signs of autumn and they gathered lots of interesting leaves, branches and acorns. They thoroughly enjoyed being outside and learned about the changing seasons.

This is primary 3 learning to partition 2, 3 and 4 digit numbers. They could select their own category and some even attempted some 5 digit numbers, with success.
