Fucking hell. "Spanberger said she supported collective bargaining, but not the way it would be implemented in the legislation before her." "I support [insert progressive issue here] abstractly but not in a concrete way I can do something about right now" is why progressives hate the Dem party.

I'm sure folks are already writing about it, but I hope we talk more about the indirect slopification of undergrad writing. I mean this in a "secondhand smoke" sense—students are exposed to so much GenAI writing & can unintentionally borrow its features, so they seem more AI-like than they are
