Last year I was excited to leave a one-party state (TN) and move to VA, where my vote could actually count. But if our governor is anti-labor and the courts don't give a fuck anyway, I guess "having my vote count" is just a little too unrealistic in this country?

Fucking hell. "Spanberger said she supported collective bargaining, but not the way it would be implemented in the legislation before her." "I support [insert progressive issue here] abstractly but not in a concrete way I can do something about right now" is why progressives hate the Dem party.

If accurate, this is a massive own goal by @abigailspanberger.com. Public-sector employees in VA worked their butts off to elect her last year. More importantly, they deserve the job security and a real voice at the table that come with collective bargaining. vadogwood.com/news/labor/b...
