The Pentagon’s deployment of National Guard troops to D.C. is set to cost an additional $1.4 billion through the end of the Trump administration, according to information reviewed by The Post. The estimate encompasses October 2026 through January 2029.

Trump's administration began by slashing money for health-killing people overseas, moved on to killing immigrants, then turned to the poor and those dependent on federally-supported health care. Who's next? Seniors-all of them. Being forced off of Medicare on to a 2nd rate private program.

I remember the day I had to run to the ICU to do a slash tracheostomy at 1 am on a COVID positive patient with multi-organ failure and airway obstruction. I remember the fear and confusion. I remember the helpers and the teamwork.
