An old favourite, every time I come here it reminds me how much I want to go to Japan.

I finally been into the Third Barrell pub, the beer tasted so fresh, was super tasty too. Best of luck to the lads, I’m very optimistic this will stick.
Disappointing to see @bfcdublin.bsky.social still posting cup game updates on Twitter and not posting them here instead.
I’ll take the occasional Bluesky outage all day over the cesspit the other place turning into. Presume they’re all still stewing in their racist shit over there? Don’t even mind the occasional screen grab reminder that appears here from time to time.
70 plus years in beer right there! Someone thought it’d be a good idea to get me talk about our new Westie with a Grossman standing beside me. No need for it. Got to have pints with a few legends last week thanks to @thewhitehag.bsky.social for letting me tag along!
Can’t beat a couple of days in Sligo, great town. Lots of tasty beers sampled!
I heard cats do well on the internet, this one was much bigger than the one that lives in my garden, but just as sheepish when he realised how close he’d got to me. I was equally as grateful there was a glass door between us.
This place is some operation! Cheap, fast and solid. Still it’s no Chick-fil-a, the king of American fast food for me!
Last week I had lunch in this lovely little pub in the middle of nowhere. Next week I’ll be in the metropolis that is Ballymote! #cantwait
Ian Darke doing comms on US broadcast, as annoying as Zlatan is doing punditry. It’s good to hear Darke doing comms again.
Columbia got what they deserved for not going for it!
Looks like Spain will have enough here. But definitely not looking like world beaters!
I’ve seen this take a fair bit from Americans. I suspect it’ll take a lot more than one over turned suspension. Maybe get some of those Russian boxing judges in to ref the games.
Should the US actually win the World Cup, it will forever be known as the World Cup decided by political influence. Trump destroys everything he touches; now it's FIFA's turn.
There are few things more Irish than the lads doing the commentary on RTE having no clue who the famous people in the crowd are, and not giving a flying fuck about it.
Main street of Oslo right now. Photographer has their back to the royal castle. Crowd is rowing, and shouting "we're gonna wake up the king!"
Pochettino and Balogun have a great opportunity to do the right thing here, and set and example for all the teenagers that are obsessed with football.
The Guardian understands that the White House did lobby Fifa to rescind Folarin Balogun's one-game ban v Belgium: www.theguardian.com/football/202...
Don’t care who wins here, just hoping we’ve a better game than last nights shambles.
If they had any self respect they’d drop the suspended lad for the game.
Someone lied to me and told me this was all the rage. It’s smells like a cheeseburger, but taste wise, definitely not for me. ‘Relish’ I did not.
Threatening to come here for years. 100% worth the trip. The dream.
No pressure lads, but if you haven’t created a new spiritual home for Irish beer fans, then you’ve failed us all. Just saying!
Now seems like a good time to start watching the World Cup!
Don’t think I’ve ever been in town for pride. Lovely atmosphere around the place.
Three aul lads drinking pints in one of Ireland’s best pubs!
People are always telling me, “life’s too short to drink shit beer”. Agreed.
Driving around today it’s sticking how much cooler streets with trees on them are. The south circle road down by the Liffey is a lovely stench, they’re putting in protected cycle lanes too. This should be the model for the city.
You wait all day to open the windows, just in time for a DJ to kick off in the beer garden of the pub next door. I either need to move or take over the pub. #insufferableshit
