French law requires “daylighting” all intersections—eliminating street parking within 5 m of crosswalks to improve pedestrian safety—by 2026. Paris will complete all intersections by end of 2025. SF will begin enforcing a similar law with fines beginning on Jan 1 www.sfmta.com/blog/statewi...
