I was excited to meet coaches and athletes from the University of Illinois’s parasports program and tour their incredible facility! In Washington, I’m working to ensure that programs like this one have the resources they need to keep making sports more accessible and inclusive for all athletes.
Once governing bodies claim the authority to decide who qualifies as a woman & require medical proof to back it up, that authority doesn’t stop with transgender athletes. It extends to any woman whose body falls outside expectations. You're about to see it in action.
This anti-trans policy shift by the IOC to a made up problem in women’s sports will have huge ramifications on the future of women’s sport.

I’m proud that I finished 9 books this year after not reading consistently for a few years. My goal was 12, and tho I didn’t quite reach it, the purpose was to be consistent and joyful with reading & I definitely accomplished that 😊 Going to keep my goal at 12 this year and see where that takes me!

On the road recruiting this week in Richmond, VA but we made sure we attended the local #HandsOff march and protest. Passionate crowd and lots of honking and waving in support!
DEI did not cause a plane crash. This is infuriatingly ableist and racist garbage. In our greatest moment of need, we are once again abandoned by the very people meant to lead.
Despite Donald Trump’s claims on, disabled people did not cause the plane crash at DCA. What a dangerous, repugnant, morally reprehensible thing to say to a nation of people who are shocked & scared and especially to the grieving families of people who just died in a horrific and unimaginable way.
Trump blames President Biden's & Pete Buttigieg for targeting DEI initiatives to hire people with "Severe intellectual & psychiatric disabilities to be air traffic controllers." Dwarfism, hearing disabled" . . . he goes on & on, says Biden Admin thought they were "too white." He's disgusting.
This is reprehensible and unhinged.
